I covered Texas A&M football, basketball and recruiting for GigEm247.com, part of the 247Sports Network from September 2019 until September 2025. I produced at minimum 55 stories per month, covering the recruiting journeys of prospective Texas A&M targets. My goal with each story was to provide informative analysis and intel on a competitive beat while also contributing to team coverage as well. Beyond writing, I had extensive additional responsibilities including hosting the GigEm247 Podcast, managing all social media for the site and additional editing duties.

Before joining GigEm247, I worked at Genesco Sports Enterprises in a client support role for two years. I contributed in an array of roles supporting account teams for Optum, Papa John’s, T-Mobile and new business initiatives. Prior to Genesco, I worked at Olson Engage as a consumer intern on the Wrigley, Omaza and Optima Batteries account teams building media pitch lists, tracking coverage and researching influencer seeding opportunities.

I graduated from DePaul University in 2019 with a master’s in journalism with focus on sports. While in school, I worked as the sports editor of the DePaulia and also covered DePaul men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, softball and enterprise feature stories. As sports editor, I oversaw the layout of four-page sports section every week during the school year and a special eight-page preview edition ahead of the start of the men’s and women’s basketball seasons.

Prior to DePaul, I completed a bachelor’s degree in journalism and applied sport management from SMU in 2015. At SMU, I worked as a reporter for 247Sports’ SMU-dedicated site, PonyStampede.com, and continued in a part-time role until 2019. I covered SMU football, basketball and recruiting with an emphasis on covering prospective Mustang athletes and their schools of interest. As an undergraduate, I co-founded Press Pass: SMU Spotlight on Sports, shining a light on SMU and local sports.
A Milwaukee-area native, I graduated from University School of Milwaukee and live in the Milwaukee area.
